More Virtual Africa!

So I went back to Virtual Africa for some more pictures. And I want to share this place with y'all! It's a great place to visit. There are several "rides" to go on, and many animals to see. And if you go on the balloon ride, you will get information about the things you see. For example, many of the plants and trees here are custom made since there isn't much african things in SL, so you can't find them anywhere else.


In some places around the sims you can find art. That's what I think it is, anyway. Look at this photo, isn't it great??!!

Now, I will throw in some pictures just to show you SOME of the things you can see and do there, but PLEASE, go and see for yourself. And take some TIME to do it. Go for a balloonride first, so you will have an overlook and then stroll around. Maybe adopt a meercat? At meta africa (can someone tell me what meta means? In swedish, it means fishing....) You can have your own camp. I think you are supposed to look at the rangers tent so you know witch ones are available. Take the meta ballonride to see the whole place! Thank you for the warning! :)

After such an adventure, I rest at Eagle outlook. It dawns on me that this place, that I've known for so long time but never really explored earlier, is the romanic place I've been searching for! (if you've read my blog before, you know what I'm talking about) And what is it I look for in a romantic place? Nice nature, nice setting, and cuddle poseballs!! And I found them here! GREAT!

Virtual Africa

This blog doesn't claim to be anything other than my diary, really. But occationally I will show you something that I urge you to go see. This is one of those times. Alanagh Recreant TP'd me and all her other friends to check out the newest attraction at Virtual Africa -rafting. I hopped on the raft and quickly became the selected driver of the thing.... Don't know the thing appointed me, but off we went.

Yeah the picture quality is horrible, but on friday I'm hoping to get my graphics card installed..... as i've said for 6 months or so now LOL. In the background you can see a glipmse of an un-rezzed hot air balloon, that's another of the cool rides you can go in Virtual Africa (not to be mixed up with the other sim called just "africa").

I took my job seriously and started singing in voice, like one of those gondole boys in Venice. Somehow I got inspired to sing from "sound of music".... dunno why, it's not the same kind of nature, lol. "The hiiiilllls are aliiiive.... with the sound of muuuusiiiic...."

I think it must have been the part that goes like this: "follow every stream.... follow every rainbow til you find your dream..."

Finally, the man I've been waiting for logged in, and quickly I TPd him to my raft and gave him a tuor.

Btw, I found a fish in the water, and it was wearing a tag to state it's name..... 'bafana' it said.....

Romance again?

I went out in search for a romantic spot. The first place I thought of was my own backyard, though. Many hours has been spent at the cuddle tree (digital dream, exept the swing I snatched from another tree I don't use anymore from Pillow talk). See the rising sun warming my neck as I think about where to go next. Like a lizard, or a cat I warm myself in the morning before I go about the days adventures. Behind my little typically "falu-red" swedish cottage (made by my friend Jazzoru Otoole somtime in the beginning of time) I feel secure, and home. I only lack one element... and that's the man himself ;)

I went investigating the LMs I got. A few was boring.... but this one seems promising...

I climbed up a tree to see better, but then he called me and I ofcourse drop everything and run to him! I will continue investigating later ;)

It's called Aerobreeze... won't tell you more until I know more myself.

Yeah, I'm a happy avatar! Maybe silly or kinda pathetic, I know, but I CAN get happy by dancing in SL... even if the stream won't work and the person I'm dancing with is AFK for the moment.... silly? well, I blame hormones!

Elixir

One of my favourite stores for clothes is Elixir. Maybe because they have clothes in that orange/yellow colour i love so much. It was Jumal Jaxxon who showed me first time, and I keep coming back. The only thing I don't like is the look of their model.... eeek i think it is the owner herself so I will probably eat my words later.... but not everybody can be as perfect as me, can they? ;)

I was talking to some ppl in second sweden a minute ago..... but I am too upset to even be able to type.... If I knew their RL names, they would allready be reported to SOCIALEN! GRRRRRR.....

Note: violence never solves anything. Violence feeds voilence. Even a slap on a childs cheek is one to much! Never raise a child with voilence, shame or guilt! And a slap on the cheek is shame and guilt!!! even if it doesn't "kill you".

Now I'm gonna take a nice afternoon with my sweet innocent kids and be happy at least THEY have a mom that cares about THEM.

Short SL session today

I went inworld not having a clue what i should do today. Only that it had to be short, I promised myself to be in bed at 9 to read a book (I KNOW, who does that?). Anyway, got a group notice from "Bara fan gang" so i quickly tp'd to bara bar:

My favourite Bara Johnson was about to have open mic evening and he started off with a half hour of his own. Great!

At first there was only me and my new friend Nickel (Bara's RL wife and carrier of his unborn child hehe), cute as ever.

And Bara himself ofcourse! (and yeah I DID hit the vote box!!)

Ppl started showing up and soon the place was packed, as always when bara plays! Kataleena Bracken and Bock McMillan was there ofcourse, as they ARE his proffessional stalkers...

Then i saw this lady walk in the door. I couldn't resist taking a picture (with her concent ofcourse) because she was stunning!

Her name is Clarissa Pastorelli and she seems to be working with streams and stuff..... yeah, that's a contact I could take advantage of some day.... if I ever dare.... ;)

After Bara had finished I went home to think... On my comfy flowered pillow I thaught about the man who's too far away....

but then i got scared of the dark and hid among the flowers. Nice accually. I was back in RL by 8.45 or something.... odd...

Yeah... and now it's 9.01.... time for bed, read a good book and be on my own. That's also nice sometimes, just to be with myself and a book. At least when I know he won't be online anyway ;)

Africa live! at Estings, a picture walk-through

Today I took a walk/fly in Africa live to show y'all what it is. So here we go!

Here's the beach by Artemisias green ecolo. A bar where you can sit and take a ecological drink perhaps? And a lot of reading about ecological stuff for the interested.

I'm following the turtles, as the sighn sais, and strolls through the mangroves on the boardwalk.

Funny details, like these bees flying around, catch my attention.

My high heels didn't help me o this part of the walk.... Mangroves are great and the birds.... I just hope that they don't aim too good....

Africa live sustains itself with the help of windpower :))

At the windpower pole I found a "think"pose. So I stopped to ponder about life in the mangroves. Artemisia has promised to give me her speach she gave about the mangroves on monday so i can show y'all, I know you are dying to learn something new, aren't you?

And who is this?? It is Artemisia herself! With geisha shape! I never thought I'd see the day.... she said it was because she'd been going through invent and playing a bit :)) GOOD, Artie, you need to play after all your hard work!!

hmmmm.... mangroves are easy to get stuck in.... good thing they are phantom in SL ;))

When i had untangled myself, I took a rest in the big hut in the middle of the place. I took a look at the two maps, one over africa, and one over our domains here in SL.

And here's our friend Nestor, afk as usual :) Probably doing something important. he's also done a lot of good things here in Africa live! He's also the owner of the group that manages the lands here.

If you wanna see a movie about africa of something like that, come here, to the Auditorium! A big screen covers the top of Szavannahs house. take a sit on the big coconut or sit down by the fire.

I couldn't resist takeing a few moments to dance on the drum on top of the "rings". Come on, next time, JOIN me!!

In Szavannas house she has freebies and stuff from her Open café. Go have a look!! She is an awsame teacher both RL and SL, and she will teach you how to build :))

Oh, and at Veronas art gallery... watch your step, you don't wanna be eaten by the giant... gecko?
