I wish I had more time to meet y'all, but this week will be hard, as I will be working a lot. I will try to update this blog, but I am not very inspired at the moment. Sorry.

Darn it, I hate not knowing....

1000 visits!!

I just passed the 1000 visits mark since 10th of June :))

Meaning I have an average of 21 readers per day. Not too bad coming from a blog that isn't updated regularly and doesn't fill a purpose, LOL.

RL impact

We've all thaught about it; how does my second life impact my first life? There are many answers to that. For me, there are examples like I've become bolder in contacts, I dance more boldly (even more...), I know about more cultural differences and I have increased my knolage in certain languages.

But there is one thing I couldn't forsee. It's about this being black thing again. In SL I usually connect with any black avatar I come upon, if only for a simple "HI" or an invite to the group africa live!

But in RL I can't do that.... they are just as scarce in my RL as in SL, and everytime I see one I feel a connection there... from my side. Ofcourse they don't feel the same, cuz I'm blond and very ordinary here. I can't just walk up and say "HI".... so what do I do? I stare! "Not good", I remind myself and look the other way... not good either! The person in question probably don't even notice my behaviour, still I think "omg I'm insulting him/her!!"

It is quite a strange feeling! I wish I had some black RL friends, I think maybe these wierd feelings would go away then...

*giggles* I can't even explain it, it's wierd.

Hey, all you ppl out there that knows me, you know I have a soft spot for africa, right? So I'm in this group called africa live! (yeah the explenation point is in the name^^) I have done a few pieces in my blog about it (look in archive) as well as promoting it in comments in other blogs. This week will not be so much SL time for me since I will be working evenings. I'm eager for the days to pass quickly right now too.... soon.... soon....

Btw, I can see people were looking for a new blogpost yesterday. Sorry, I was out dancing in RL, that's why I wasn't online to make any blog entries. I had very fun, and it took my mind off the longing for a while.

60's party

There was a 60's party on Måndagsbörsen this monday. I wasn't in the mood for dancing, really, so i sat down on a cushion at this wierd maschine. I had never seen anything like it, but soon some smoke searched its way from it into my mouth.

I have never in my life smoked anything, RL or SL so I was curious what would happen.

See what happened? It's all dim, and I don't know how long I stayed there... I think I just dozed off eventually...

Waking up

Yesterday (or was it the day before?) morning I wanted to wake up slowly. I sat down in the grass outside my house with my teddy and my pyjamas and Choc on my shoulder.

Then I took a cup of tea on the dock and sat there thinking for a while. Aren't the socks cute?

New shoes...

hehe... nooo don't kill me... but I HAD to get new shoes...

Ikaros rezparty

A while ago, I accidentally revealed a surprise rezparty. Fortunately it seems Ikaros didn't see it. I was there when he arrived and he seemed very surprized.

I didn't stay long, but during that time he mostly said "omg!!!"

Rumour has it he was really doing a lot of... adult IMing, that's why he was so quiet in the local chat....

I was invited to dance with some sweds. It just happened to be at their chicken farm.

OK, so I thaught I needed some company at home. In the swedish comunity in SL it seems to be hip to keep chickens right now, but you know me -I can never be mainstreem. So what do i do? I get a giraffe!!

But you know, I soon realized, I can't get any company from these dumb looking creatures...

So I go looking for something to cuddle with.

I'm not really a cat person, but I fell for this siamese. I named him Choc.

RL

RL is taking me away tonight, something called work. Not sure what it is, but I will give it a try. Anyway, this means I won't be joining y'all in any event tonight.

So, at least TRY to have fun without my precence. I know it is hard, but I'm sure y'all can manage :p

Wierd guy!

For some reason, guys are starting to hit on me in the wierdest ways. I don't know why and I don't understand why they all do it at the same time. Some of them are real sickos too, lol. Yesterday night I was up partying at Kandis dock (see previous post). But eventually at about 1 o'clock, I went to bed.

I was so tired I forgot to take my shoes off.....
